Charlie is no longer with us. She died in early 2008. Born of illustrious gundog parents, Charlie never did any real hunting, but did win the odd rosette or two at gundog trials. Latterly, she pursued a career as a children's entertainer, and helped Chris to pick up his juggling balls which he frequently drops. Her own fan websiteis still current. She was very switched on, and her most famous trick was her ability to balance three balls on her nose!
